In response to a 2007 faculty survey in which Fairhope faculty members stated a need for a foreign language curriculum for the lower grades, FEEF piloted a Spanish language initiative in grades 1-3 for the school year. The acclaimed Early Advantage (“Muzzy Amigo”) videos and lesson plans were incorporated into the daily classroom experience.   

This year FEEF will provide an after school Spanish language teacher for additional instruction on a weekly basis.

FEEF has also presented Spanish in summer camps.
